Buyback & Burn

Fees buy tokens back and burn them

Tokenomics · supply that shrinks over time~19,900 gas a swap

Sets aside part of your fee income as the creator, and every few swaps uses it to buy tokens from the pool and burn them. Each buyback moves the price by about 2% at most and runs at most once a second, so they stay small and hard to trade around; the rest waits for the next. The buying lifts the price and the burning shrinks the supply.

How it works on-chain

  1. 1Your share of the creator's income, 5% to 100%, is set aside in the pool's vault, after any Revenue Split.
  2. 2Every few swaps (2 to 50, your pick), or on any swap while more is set aside than one buyback may spend, the hook buys tokens from its own pool with the set-aside ETH and burns them.
  3. 3Each buyback spends at most 1% of the pool's ETH reserve as the pool prices it, which moves the price by about 2% at most, and runs at most once a second. What's left carries over to the next one.
  4. 4The hook's own buy pays no fee and doesn't count toward any cap.

What it doesn't do
Each buyback is small by design: a price move of about 2% at most, at most once a second.
