Exit Clock
Quick flips pay a sell fee that fades the longer you hold
Fees · what each swap pays~18,500 gas a swap
Sellers pay an extra fee in ETH that falls in a straight line to zero the longer they've held. Quick flips pay it; holders don't. Nobody is ever locked in. Buying more only resets the clock in proportion. Like a tax, it goes to the creator, minus Captain Hook's 10% cut.
How it works on-chain
- 1The hook keeps each wallet's holding from its own buys in the pool and the average time it bought at. Buying more only moves that time in proportion to the amount, and time held beyond your period doesn't count, so an old holding can't make fresh tokens look old. A buy for another wallet counts for neither, like a transfer: buy into the wallet you'll sell from.
- 2A sell pays your starting fee, up to 10%, if the tokens were just bought, falling in a straight line to nothing once they've been held for your period, 1 hour to 30 days. It comes off the ETH the seller gets, after the pool fee.
- 3Tokens a wallet sells beyond what it bought in the pool, moved in from another wallet, pay the full starting fee, so moving tokens to a fresh wallet doesn't skip it. So do sells through any router but Captain Hook's. Team Vesting's tokens count as held from launch.
- 4Like a tax it's paid in ETH: 90% to the creator, 10% to Captain Hook.
What it doesn't do
It never stops a sell, it only charges for selling soon. It follows each wallet's buys, not each token, so wallets passing tokens between them can soften it. Scanners count it with the sell tax.
